Argentina- International Travel

Okay since my last post, there was another terrorist attack in New York City and another one in Texas. I don't understand. I don't think anyone does. However, we can't let evil win. There is still a lot of good out there and we have to try to focus on that.

Anyway, in other news, Miami Hoop School has been very busy. First of all, Coach Andrew returned from Argentina Oct. 17th where he did two basketball camps on two separate weekends, one in Rosario and one in Buenos Aires. When he travels to Spanish speaking countries, he does all of the training in Spanish which is such a benefit to knowing two languages and I think one of the main reasons they always ask for him to return. I never travel with him when he goes to all of these countries for a couple of reasons. 1. He's there to work so while he's working it would be quite boring to be by myself and 2. We have three children under the age of 5 and it's quite difficult leaving them behind for obvious reasons. However, this time, my wonderful parents-in-law were able to take off work and watch the three kids for 5 days while I accompanied Andrew in Argentina. I was able to do it because the two basketball camps he did were on weekends, so we had the entire week to travel. Other than staying with our friends in their beautiful home in Buenos Aires, we also went to the Iguazu waterfalls which were absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The pictures don't give it justice. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

And here's a video one of the Argentinians made for Coach Andrew.

I am behind in my blog posts and will be posting more soon. We are excited about our Veterans Day Clinic at the Miami Heat arena this Friday. Unfortunately it's sold out with over 100 athletes participating so there are no spots left but we will be doing more clinics at the arena in the near future. We also are starting travel ball teams and tryouts are Nov. 18 and 19. For information on that, visit our homepage in the announcements section.
